We hope you find the information here helpful. If you cannot find the information you are looking for or you have a specific question you would like to ask, why not contact a breastfeeding peer supporter, or if you are local why not come along to our group.
Our aim is to support and promote breastfeeding within the community. We advocate and strongly support new mums who breastfeed for as long as they are able and happy to do so.
Are You: Thinking about breastfeeding? Doing well? Having problems? Starting? Stopping?
Let us share our experiences!! The Breastfeeding Support Groups are run by mothers for mothers, with professional support and assistance from Midwives and Health Visitors.
We offer:
- Telephone and/or online support for mums and dads
- One to one visits at home from one of our peer supporters
- Weekly groups where breastfeeding mums get a chance to meet peer supporters and other mums and share their experiences and support each other.
- Support and advice at antenatal classes
